General Description :
The multi pump test rig is designed to run item by item of the following pumps on the same supporting base and accessories. The stainless steel supporting frame with 4 breakable wheels, water storage tank, flow meter, manometers or pressure gauges are provided.
Installation and disassembling of installation for each pump has to be done by students using quick water connectors/plastic hoses. Hence, more easily to arrange and setting up the pumps manually.
The experiment purpose is to determine pump performance curves.
Specifications :
- Frame: Stainless steel frame and plastwood sheet with 4 breakable wheels
- MWater storage tank: Plastic tank ,>= 60 litres capacity.
- Flow measuring device: Volumetric tank with stop watch.
- Piping system: PVC pipes, fitting and plastic quick connectors and plastic hoses.
- Pressure gauges: Oil type,-1 to 3 barg.
- Manometer: +/- 480mm WG only available for axail pump.
- Torque measurement/dynamometer: Watt meter by direct measurement and calculation.
- Water temperature measuring device: Thermocouple with digital temperature indicator.
